The Antennagate

Is it really a "gate" ?.
In the beginning i'm not a Apple fan boy nor an anti-Apple guy, i'm an engineer.I judge things rationally.

Apple did a HUGE mistake, that can be accepted from another company that ruin all models -almost- of laptops of a certain year with a crappy OS even without drivers available for the prior OS and says, opppss ! we're sorry we'll make it less crappier in the next version and you will have to pay for it too !, but not from Apple.

Apple is a leading innovative company, they are pioneers in research and development, they always have the courage to take the first step -and they always make it- and after that other companies go after them.(The Monitor\Keyboard computer, the GUI, the Mouse, Multi-Touch, ...etc.).Apple introduced a whole new antenna technology and it failed. So, even Homer nods, things didn't turn out as it's supposed -like every time- to be.For God's sake, NASA's satellites fall and BOEING planes crash in the air! Shit happens !

I think it's so childish to criticize Apple that despicable way as if it's a lousy company.
As said before, rationally, Apple did a mistake and we shouldn't under any circumstances to defend them absolutely nor sacrifice them.Things need to be discussed-again!-rationally.

After all that media bubble about that issue, Apple gave a simple effective short term solution, u'll get a FREE case that solves the problem or a REFUND ! just like that!.
The media coverage reminded me of Newsweek's title for Israel's massacre against Flotilla: "Operation Overreaction" !
