Does anyone know that Dr. A. Zewail is a Winner of Wolf Prize?!!

I received that e-mail from a Malaysian friend.

"Assalamu'alaikom,

Wolf Prize...is a Zionist and Israeli major prize of science...with a board of directors and headquarters based in Til Aviv, Israel

This prize is given to those who serve the sientific goals and objectives of modern Zionism represented in the State of Israel. The minimum financial amount of this prize is 10 USD$ Millions donated by the well known Zionist family of Wolf .

Does anyone know that Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zewail is a holder of this prize...??! in 1993...!! just six years before he won the nobel proize for the same topic (Femtochemistry)...!!

In fact, a prime condition to win such a prize is that the nominee must spend some period of time as a researcher in one of the major Israeli universities...!!!!

And here's Dr.Zwail's comment about that in Al-Ahram Weekly Online:

"I visited Israel only once. When I went there, it was not for politics, but as a scientist who had received an international award, the Wolf Prize, given inside Israel by the Wolf Foundation, based on the request of the founder, Professor Ricardo Wolf, who was Jewish. You must realise, too, that when I went, it was not to an 'enemy' country, but to one with which Egypt has concluded a peace treaty. When I went, I was received by the Egyptian ambassador as the first Muslim and Arab to obtain this award."
